Crazy for Corals!!

Its no secret that I have become "slightly" obsessed with Corals this Spring (which I have no doubt will continue into summer!). Coral Lips, Cheeks, Eyes, and my most favorite place to where corals, NAILS. I feel as though I have become compelled to collect all coral nail polishes I can, from every brand. Every time I pick a new one up, I have to stop and ask myself..."is this like any of the others I have?" and then I think, "Who am I kidding, I need it anyway". Yes, obsessed. Below are the 5 I currently have in my collection. As you can see, I am happy to report that no 2 look the same. Although they all fit the description of "Coral", they are all different and unique in their own way. I often get asked which I recommend or my absolute favorite, and there is no question that Essie's Van D'Go is definitely the one that ALWAYS comes to mind, and the one I recommend to EVERYONE! Its a very opaque and pastel peachy coral and I am in love with it! It will be on my toes all summer. It has happily taken the place of OPIs Mod About You!

CG Peachy Keen, Essie Tart Deco, Color Club Coral Cascade, Essie Van D'Go, Orly Lollipop

Same order as above (starting with the thumb)

So my question is....Is there a Coral nail polish that I am missing in my collection?!

EOTD (Eye of the Day)

I used my new Glamour Doll Eye Shadows for the first time today and just had to take pictures because I am SO in love with how my eyes turned out....wow a little full of myself there? I promise I*m not, its just been a while since I did a "netural eye" that I really loved so I was quite happy! Here are some pictures:

Caution, Eyebrow FAIL! Thats what I get for going to someone different than my friend who normally does them....Like I said in my eyebrow video...find 1 person to do them and STICK to them! Now comes the fun part of growing them back in =)
"He Loves me Not" all over the lid, "Boyfriend Sweater" on the outer 1/4, "Chocoholic" in the crease and "Brown Eyed Girl" under the lower lash line.

Look at the sparkle in the inner corner...AMAZING!

I am honestly SO pleased with these shadows, they are so gorgeous, have amazing pigmentation, go on like silk, blend like a dream, and stay put all day! I am writing this post at 10:40pm and you would never know it judging from my eye shadow. The owner of Glamour Doll Eyes (Shout out to Vee!) was so sweet to offer to send them to me to review. My review has yet to come (it will be in a video), but I can't wait for it, you girls (well my neutral gals anyway) are going to feel the need to get these babys and add them to your collection PRONTO!

Yellow Nails?

When I first bought this color I thought, GORGEOUS! But I feel its a bit of a different story on the nails....I really can't decide how much or how little I like it. The application was incredibly streaky, but once it was layered it gave a more "opaque" and creamy finish. However, you can tell from the pictures that not every nail applied as perfectly as the rest. I do think its a pretty color and I don't mind it so much, however it is definitely not a color I will be keeping on my nails and toes all summer. This is one of those colors that unfortunately won't look great on everyone, as I wouldn't recommend this color for fair/pale skin tones as I feel it would make you hands look washed out. This will definitely look AWESOME on more tan and golden skin tones for sure. So get your spray tans on before you pick up a bottle of Lemon Fizz =)

Tiffany Bows!

Anyone that knows me knows I have a HUGE weakness when it comes to Tiffany & Co. I got my first piece of jewelry when I was 15 and have been obsessed ever since. I don't know if its the infamous Tiffany blue color, the incredibly attractive wrapping, or the amazing quality you get with their jewelry, but I am sucked in everytime I walk past a store or receive the catalog in the mail. Needless to say with the holiday season quickly approaching I have received numerous "blue" catalogs come into my mail box over the past few months. I always want everything in it, but there was one piece that kept staring at me in every one. They are the newest addition to their collection this year and they are the CUTEST earrings I have ever seen. The epitome of a girly girl. Introducing Tiffany Bows!

I couldn't take looking at them in one more catalog. I always hate ordering from the catalog because their pieces aren't always true to size. Soooo, I dragged my boyfriend to the mall an hour away from us to the nearest Tiffany & Co. Much to my disappointment these babies were SOLD OUT! The Sales associate told me the last pair literally just walked out of the store as I was coming in. BUMMER! My boyfriend told me I was crazy, being that my birthday and Christmas are around the corner and I should wait, but I couldn't! One awful thing about me is when I want, I want NOW! Needless to say, I ordered them right then and there and got them in the mail about 4 days later. I am OBSESSED! If you girls ask for 1 thing this year from your parents/boyfriends/husbands, let it be these. You will not regret it, I PROMISE! And at the affordable price (for Tiffanys) of $125.00, you won't feel too guilty asking for them =)

Essie Winter Collection

Lollipop, Rock Candy, Mint Candy Apple, Clear Top Coat

Essie never lets us down, and their new winter collection is no exception. Every color is beautiful (swatches below). If you can't decide which color to get, I recommend doing what I did, go for the little gift set, which can be found at Ulta. You get all 3 colors and a top coat for $17.00. What a Steal!!

Mint Candy Apple
1 shade of the hottest color this fall/winter. This color truly delivers and is stunning on the nails. I can't tell you how many compliments I get when I have it on my nails!

Rock Candy
A typical "Essie" color. Sheer Pink. This does have more color than most of their sheer pink shades. Its so girly by itself and adds great shine. While it is super pretty by itself, I would recommend using it the next time you get a french manicure. It is slightly "darker" than the average pink used for a french, but with an opaque white on top would be beautiful!

Lollipop
Red, no better way to say it. Its flat, opaque, gorgeous and perfect for the holiday season!

Overall, there is not a bad color in this collection. I usually stay away from mini collections or sets because 9 times out of 10 I only like 1 or 2 colors in the kit. None of these colors disappoint. Mint Candy Apple is by FAR my absolute favorite. I like it even better than MAC's Peppermint Patti. Its a lighter "green" where as Peppermint Patti has more "blue" undertones. If you missed out on Chanel Jade shoot for Mint Candy Apple, they are slightly different but give off that same beautiful shade of green. Yummy!
