Neulash: The Lash Gem!

Its been no secret that up until 2 months ago, I was at war with my lashes.  Whether it was the mascara I was using, the daily wear of false eyelashes/glue or the weather (totally kidding), they were sparse, short, would not hold a curl, stick straight - and stuck straight out!  I asked for recommendations in some of my videos and a common response was Neulash.  I did some research, read awesome reviews and loved the fact that it was so easily accessible (Macys, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom).  I loved the fact that I didn't need a prescription from my dermatologist and the price point was great compared to others on the market.  I was SOLD!  2 months later, {SPOILER ALERT} I am SO happy to report that not only does this stuff deliver, but the difference is dramatic!  I'll let the pictures do the talking.....(please forgive the scary eyeball photos and lack of makeup.  I wanted to show you them clean and without any makeup enhancing my eyes or lashes.

My lashes today!

I am OBSESSED with this stuff!  I cannot believe what it has done for my lashes and I never want to be without it!  Its so nice to see a product deliver in such a short time!  Just a few things to note....I have not experienced any adverse reactions, the application process takes all of 30 seconds and is in the form of a thin eyeliner brush, and I apply it every night before bed.  If any of you are having eyelash woes....put this little jewel on your list for Santa, I promise you and your lashes will be so glad you did!

Mini Style: Fall Fashion!

With my favorite season comes another favorite for a lot of parents - back to school!  Though I am still coping with the fact that my baby is now going to Nursery school -WAHHHHH (its literally 4 hours a week, but STILL!) I'm all for any reason to shop for my little girl! And with all this new fall fashion, its so hard to contain myself!  Seriously, I just can't with all of these little outfits and accessories!  Its crazy how easy it is to find just about any fashion trend in miniature sizes these days!  Makes it super easy for the crazy Mom's like myself that want to match their minis! Here's a round-up of favorites I've picked up for my mini!  Joggers, window pane prints & puffer vests on your little one? Yes, please!
P.S. I really have to hand it to Old Navy....they have really been stepping up their game!!

Palms Anyone?

It wasn't until my new Planner cover arrived in the mail that I realized just how many things I have that contain this very trendy pattern.  I don't know what it is about Palms - their clean and fresh and I can't seem to get enough of them. While it is obviously very trendy at the moment, I think that it can also lean a little on the neutral side of fashion (think leopard print). For someone who probably has less prints in my wardrobe that I can count on one hand, it caught me off guard by just how much I love it!  Thankfully, I am not the only one obsessing over it and therefore it is literally being splashed on every.item.imaginable!  My palms collection is beginning to look a lot like my embarrassing white T-shirt collection!  The crazy thing is, for as many things as I own decked out in Palms, I'm not tired of it and in fact I'm plotting my next purchase (hello, new throw pillows).  Here are a few things to check out if you find yourself in the same boat and going a little goo-goo-ga-ga for the palm print!
How do you feel about this trend? Love it or leave it?

The Shift.

 | Dress | Sunglasses: Miu Miu | Hat: Target (old)
Shoes |
Necklace |

A Shift Dress - Its one of those basic "staples" that belongs in every closet for every season.  Dress it up with some fancy shoes & jewels, or throw it on with a denim jacket, your favorite pair of tennis shoes and a baseball cap to take it down a notch.  If I were still in Corporate America this would have been my go-to paired with some pointy shoes and my favorite blazer.  The possibilities are absolutely ENDLESS and the price point is INSANE (hello, $20).  I can't wait to switch out my Summer accessories with a pair of boots, wool hat (my fav) and an oversized cardigan (have this one on my radar) next month! After finally having one in my possession, I finally understand where these dresses get their name!

All About That Wedge.

I've never shopped at Boohoo, but after my first haul of the above clothing, it may be my new favorite one-stop-shop for clothes.  It reminds me a lot of ASOS in the sense that you can find great basics, or super trendy pieces all for great prices without compromising quality.  I have been wanting to purchase a duster jacket for myself for a while and when I saw this one on the website for only $30 I knew I had to have it.  I love it SO much and will be picking it up in black in my next order.  And these shoes, tho!! Let it be known that these wedges give me life.  I have been wearing them with literally EVERY outfit I can think of.  Boyfriend Jeans, Maxi skirts and dresses, shorts, white skinny jeans - you get the point.  They are uber comfortable and SO DANG PRETTY on your feet!  I cannot recommend them enough!  I will end with a huge thank you to my little boy, Jake for accompanying me on our walk and this blog post ;)....isn't he just the most handsome little guy you've ever seen?!!

P.S. I filmed a video if you want to hear me rave about these shoes even more ;)

I kind of have a thing for florals.

Lipstick | Necklace | Sunglasses - Old Navy (old), similar here

 Romper |   Bag-Tory Burch (old)

Rompers.....I have nothing but respect for these little numbers!  Lightweight, comfortable, requires little to no thought when it comes to your outfit, beyond travel friendly (both on the plane and in your suitcase), and very little accessorizing needed.  Does it get any better than that?

Bikini so Target.

Bag - sold out, available in black
via Instagram

When it comes to bathing suits, I refuse to spend a lot.  My tastes seem to change every year, whether its a color or a style of suit and between the sun & chlorine they always seem to fade.  I love Target because I can always find a huge selection that are affordable and easy to mix and match.  They have a whole wall of separates in just about every color, as well as two-piece suits in fun colorful prints and also basic solids.  I bought this top because of how colorful it is and therefore versatile.  I ended up purchasing these bottoms in mint to go with the top as well and I've also worn it with solid black and white bottoms that I already had!  And it doesn't hurt that while you are shopping for bathing suits you can stock up on super cute cover-ups, too!

P.S. Though I wish, this is not a sponsored post for Target....I purchased everything in this post myself!

Fringe.

Romper (sold out) similar here & here | Shoes | Necklace | Bracelets

Not wearing extensions, just clearing out my camera and came across a few fun outfits that I never got around to posting!  Boy do I LOVE this romper so much! And while its sold out at the moment, have no fear because I found you some very similar alternatives!  Rompers are my very favorite essential for Summer.  They require no outfit thought at all, take up essentially no space in your suitcase when you are packing for those vacations you have coming up and are beyond comfortable.  Because of all the plus sides there are to rompers, the fact that you have to take the whole thing off just to go pee doesn't bother me one bit!  And these shoes...can we just have a moment.

When I saw them in Macys, it was love at first sight and I knew I wasn't going home without them!  I'll be honest, they are a tad high maintenance to put on, but once they're on, they become my most favorite shoes I own! Totally comfortable, super fun and they come equipped with loads of compliments and stops from strangers asking where you got your shoes from!

Do the Pom-Pom Swing!

Dress | Sunglasses | Clutch (old) similar here & here | Bracelets | Sandals

I purchased this adorable little dress from Misguided only 1 week ago and already wore it 2 days in a row - seriously.  The pattern is super adorable and its so comfortable and care-free that I could almost sleep in it.  I love the little details like the pom-pom trim and adjustable straps, but most of all I love the price point.  If you are looking for a fun and summery print dress that you wear again and again (I'm even thinking of wearing it with a white denim jacket or denim vest, next) I would highly recommend it!  And I can't give the dress kudos without talking about Misguided as well.  If you are not familiar with the brand, think of it as Asos's little sister! They have a HUGE selection, low price-points (and are always running sales), nice quality and super fast - (free over $65) shipping.  Happy Shopping!

Traveling to the Beach in Comfort

The Beautiful Paradisus Palma Real

Top | Pants  | Clutch + Chain | Hat (old), similar
I'm finally getting around to unloading my camera from my trip so here we go!  I wore this outfit on my way down to Punta Cana with two goals in mind. 1) Comfort (If I'm gonna be on a plane for 4+ hours, I better be comfortable) and 2). Beachy.  When I tried on these pants, I didn't want to take them off, however they aren't pants I can wear around town without getting stares.  Truth be told, they've become my new favorite lounge pants at home, but on the trip, they served their purpose well!  Just a note, *I did have to roll mine down a couple times and even then they were a little long.  Its no secret I love to wear black, so I relied on my scarf and bag to bring in some color.   While I normally would wear flip flops with this kind of outfit, I went with flat espadrilles because my feet are always freezing on an airplane!  The hat is an oldie, but one that I constantly still reach for because its neutral and keeps the sun off my head and face. I have been completely obsessed with my new clutch and the print fit in perfectly in Dominican Republic.  It fit all my essentials but still remained thin which is why I love it so much.  The chain is completely versatile and while some nights I skipped it all together, my favorite way to use it is to double it up and wear the bag higher up on my shoulder.  I never travel without a scarf on an airplane because I'm always so cold, and between the bright color and lightweight feel, it was a perfect little travel companion!  Easy, breezy and totally comfortable!
